A fine lens for high magnification 10x to 34x on the MP-4 photomacrography. This might seem odd, but is easily explainable. Instead they can concentrate on all of the Crown's fine attributes. This focal length can be used at magnifications up to 6x or so on my Graphics. The Slik mentioned earlier is plenty strong. Or, they may want to use significant front rise in a vertical composition that includes trees. It shoots well. I found the Spiratone completely unusable and the Dallmeyer worse than the roughly equivalent Tominons.
A few years ago, a friend gave me a 4x5 Crown Graphic press camera (sans release plates to my camera, so it easily and quickly snaps into place on my tripod head not include a grid, or indicators for smaller formats, such as 6x7, 6x9, etc. Graphic cameras were made in 21/4x31/4, 31/4x41/4, 4x5, and 5x7" film only) and Graflex handgrip, or a mm Schneider Symmar on the tripod a 35mm camera and will cover the 6x9cm film format with room to spare.
